		<description>Interesting. Personally I am quite partial to Edred&#039;s model - I might have to read up on it again. I guess the thing is that there are so many possible models that could be constructed (the Yahoo Seidh Study elist is a great hotbed for such debates and discussions at times)...Edred&#039;s is a well-rounded model, but even so is one of potentially many legitimate models...</description>

		<description>It&#039;s worth noting that the Runic Psychology model in Runelore was actually drawn from a paper by Stephen Flowers published in the Journal of Indo-European Studies.  While I remain undecided on some aspects of the model, it&#039;s worth noting that Edgar Polome praised the article in one of his essays in &quot;Essays on Germanic Religion&quot; (from the JIES monograph series).  Polome called the analysis &quot;careful&quot; which suggests that it did meet academic standards.  I have been trying to get my hands on the original article but have thus far been unsuccessful so all I have is Polome&#039;s reference to it.

That doesn&#039;t mean no disagreement is possible.  However it does suggest that it should be considered to have some basis in serious study.</description>
