I have explored the magical power and the seductive swoon of Nox in the form of abyss for many years - and in the end rose to meet Lux after a brush with death.

I like the free space of thoughts on this site! I, for example would say that the "gift of gebo" is the healing force of sexuality, because it is dealing with kundalini aspects. "The gods" from who we receive "the gift"is in deed a "godess" with the name of a free woman, called Freya. But anyway it´s just another aspect of the infinite glance of a precious diamond called "mystery" (rune).

I have not a "fixed" interpretation of Runes or Magick and I have a Thelemic background myself, so I'm open for many perspectives. I like your interpretation.
Thanks for the comment, Lykathea.

Brilliant. From a Thelemic Heathen perspective, I see the runic process as the Great Work.

I have also experienced the runes 'moving away' from me as I pursue galdor. Again, linking this with Thelema, and linking it with the 'Noxia-Licht' of Dagaz, Crowley's conception of L.V.X. is light that is currently understood, and N.O.X. being light that is so bright as to seem dark.

As we bring more N.O.X. into our view, L.V.X. grows - yet N.O.X. just seems bigger and more eternal. Read N.O.X. as Runa Itself and L.V.X as the understood practice of galdor...

Feel free to pick at my incoherent, blasphemous babble.

Three sets of eight seems to be the fundamental magical division in ancient Greek and Germanic magic, both traditions being linguistically expressed through 24 alphabets.

The sculpting of the ek (Ich) into an art form - then dissolving its form and re-sculpting it - is the magical process. But as you said, the dissolution of form (in timeless stillness) in the laguz meditation is a necessary stage so that the ek - which is never the grammatical or the social self - can be understood as the primordial forming of the self, prior to any conditioning from without and within. The freedom of the lone wolf - but his lust for life with others (what Heidegger calls "Mitsein") is also at the same time a formidable force.
